Hamlet Soliloquy

O, God, a beast, that wants discourse of reason
Would have mourned longer - married with my uncle,
My father's brother, but no more like my father
Than I to Hercules.

Hamlet. (I.ii.152-155.)

  1. I also looked to this quote when looking for something to post on this and I find it very interesting that even a text like Hamlet references mythology - a true testament to the fact that it is not completely in our past.
