This post that Kristen has made demonstrates references to the idea from Greek civilization of suffering to achieve. Knowing that we need to work hard in order to achieve something we desire, HSC's motto defends this by stating that our community as a school and a business is proud to have achieved what we have; excellence. This achievement is thereby followed by the word 'tradition', solidifying our pride and excellence as a reoccuring theme.
ReplyDeleteBarack Obama states that more people need to excel, we need to work for what we want instead of being passive about things. Toiling and suffering will insure our stabilities as human beings and will benefit us with rewards.
